Kaushal Inamdar is a distinguished music composer.

Kaushal Inamdar took some primary lessons from Kamalakar Bhagwat, a renowned music composer himself. After a short stint as a writer in television, he began learning the finer nuances of music composition from his Guru Pt Satyasheel Deshpande, an eminent Hindustani vocalist and musicologist known for his insightful study of North Indian Classical music.

Kaushal’s work spans from the title songs of TV serials to the music of Marathi and Hindi films. He has also done a number of compositions and concerts, both in Hindi and Marathi.

In IDEA Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, he participated as a mentor and judge, and was appreciated for his witty, common sense approach towards music.

He has been also actively involved in conducting workshops on Music & Singing.

Kaushal has worked with a lot of talented artists—singers and musicians. Some of them include—Shankar Mahadevan, Pt. Satyasheel Deshpande, Sadhana Sargam, Suresh Wadkar, Shreya Ghoshal, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Raghunandan Panshikar, Ravindra Sathe, Ranjana Jogalekar, Avadhoot Gupte, Swapnil Bandodkar, Devaki Pandit, Manohari Singh, Pt. Satish Vyas, George Brooks, Louiz Banks and many others.

Kaushal has given background music for many serials and title music for Ek Packet Ummeed, 405 Anandvan, Ghe Bharari, Chhum Chhum Chhananana, Daulat, Jhep, Chaar Divas Sasuche, Bhatkanti,  Gajara, Kalyani, Ashakya, Aaplach Ghar, Aatish, Titliyan, Mere Apne etc

Events & Concerts

MISS WORLD 1996, Bangalore. Music for the Official CD ROM.

Composed the invocation song for the opening ceremony of the MUMBAI FESTIVAL, which was sung by 63 school-children in January 2005.

Recreated BILHAN, a musical by Mangesh Padgaonkar & P. L. Deshpande after a gap of 50 years.
